Innovative Materials for Sustainable Energy: Insights from Prof. Menny Shalom
Last Friday, Prof. Menny Shalom from the Department of Chemistry at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, an invited professor working with HG Energy, delivered an insightful talk titled “Materials Design for Photo and Electrochemical Reactions.” During his presentation, Prof. Shalom discussed a range of pioneering topics, including innovative approaches to solar fuel production, water-splitting technologies, and cutting-edge materials like carbon nitride. One of the highlights was his introduction of a promising new concept for a rechargeable Zn-air battery, which sparked great interest among the attendees.
The group actively participated in the discussion, sharing ideas and asking questions that led to engaging dialogue. We are excited about the potential collaborations with Prof. Shalom over the next year and look forward to the significant contributions this partnership will bring to our research on sustainable energy solutions.
