We are proud to announce that Aicha Anouar, a post-doctoral researcher from HG-energy at ITQ-UPV/CSIC, recently gave a talk at the XI Mediterranean Organic Chemistry Meeting (REQOMED 2024) held in Elche, Spain, from October 16th to 18th, 2024.
Aicha presented her research on “Nanosized Copper Stabilized on Ternary P, N, S-Doped Graphene from Chitosan Shellfish Waste: Preparation and Catalysis of Single and Double A3-Type Amine Coupling” during her session. This research highlights the growing interest in innovative, sustainable methods for catalysis, contributing to advancements in the field of green chemistry.
The congress brought together leading scientists such as Avelino Corma from ITQ-UPV/CSIC and Maurizio Prato from the University of Trieste, among others, creating an environment for rich scientific discussion and collaboration across the Mediterranean region.
Elche, the host city, offered a wonderful setting for the event, rich in history, culture, and natural beauty, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites like the Historic Palm Grove and the Mystery Play of Elche.
