HG Energy will participate in multiple sessions at the IEEE NAP-2025 Conference and the MXene Symposium, taking place in Bratislava from September 8–12

Sept, 3, 2025.

The MXene Symposium 2025 is one of the most relevant global events dedicated to MXene science and technology, bringing together leading voices from academia and industry working on 2D materials.
🔹 Ana Primo and Hermenegildo García will speak as invited speakers at the symposium on Tuesday, September 9.
In addition to her talk, Ana Primo is also serving as co-chair of the Symposium Organizers, underscoring her active role in shaping the direction of the field.
🔹 Aicha Anouar will give an oral presentation titled:
“Multilayered Ti₃C₂ MXene as heterogeneous catalyst for the guanylation of carbodiimides with high turnover frequency” (Wednesday, Sept 10).
🔹 HG Energy researchers will also present the following posters:
  1. 🧪 “Optimizing Iron-Impregnated Mo₂C MXene for Electrocatalytic Nitrogen Reduction”
Sabine Éliane Midré, Liang Tian, Sara Goberna Ferron, Hermenegildo García, Ana Primo
  2. 🧪 “Exploring the Effect of Surface Terminal Groups (T = Cl, Br, NH) on the Oxygen Reduction Reaction Selectivity (2e⁻ or 4e⁻) of Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXene Functionalized with Fe Single Atoms”
Dawid Kruger, Juan José Delgado Jaén, F. Javier Recio Cortés, Sara Goberna Ferron, Ana Primo, Hermenegildo García
  3. 🧪 “In Situ Growth of NaNbO₃ from Nb₂C MXene Enables Efficient Aerobic Oxime Oxidation in 3D Porous Carbon Catalysts”
Elena Romero Salicio, Aicha Anouar, Ana Primo, Hermenegildo García
🔹 In the general IEEE NAP-2025 program, Josep Albero will also give a talk on Tuesday, September 9, as part of the broader scientific sessions on nanomaterials and energy.
The event includes contributions from world-leading researchers such as Yury Gogotsi, Michael Naguib, Patrice Simon, and Johanna Rosen, among others.
📍 HG Energy’s strong presence reflects our ongoing commitment to research in MXenes, catalysis, and sustainable energy technologies.
We’ll be sharing more updates from Bratislava throughout the week.
