HG energy at ICSET 2025 in Lipari, Italy

HG energy took part in the International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies (ICSET 2025), hosted on the island of Lipari, Italy. The event gathered experts from academia and industry to discuss current research and innovation in clean energy systems, catalysis, hydrogen technologies, and sustainable fuels.

Ana Primo presented her latest work on “Laser-Induced MXene Quantum Dots for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Generation”, contributing to the session on hydrogen production through solar energy and photocatalysis. Hermenegildo García also participated with a keynote lecture titled “Photocatalytic CO₂ Hydrogenation to Methanol”, addressing the transformation of CO₂ into value-added fuels using light-driven processes.

The conference offered a dynamic setting for scientific exchange, networking, and cross-disciplinary dialogue. For HG energy, it was a valuable opportunity to connect with leading European research groups, share progress, and explore new collaborative paths.
