We’re pleased to share that the HYLIOS project’s Year 1 meeting was highly productive. The gathering allowed our teams to discuss the advancements achieved so far and to align our next steps. We extend our gratitude to everyone who attended, especially to the Lantania team for organizing and hosting us at their facilities in Seville.
The HYLIOS project, which brings together experts from Lantania, ITECAM, HG-Energy ITQ-UPV from Universitat Politècnica de València, Ansasol, and IMDEA Energy, aims to pioneer a sustainable approach to hydrogen production by transforming wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) into energy-efficient facilities. Through innovative photocatalytic technology, we are making strides toward green hydrogen production from treated wastewater, a promising development for both the wastewater and chemical industries.
The commitment and collaboration of each partner were evident as we reviewed the progress across various work packages (WPs), from WP1 on project coordination to WP7 on technical-economic evaluation, and discussed upcoming tasks in the design, testing, and integration of our new photocatalytic reactor.
