HG Energy continues active participation at MXene Symposium 2025

Sept, 11, 2025

Today at the MXene Symposium 2025 in Bratislava, Aicha Anouar presented her talk:
“Multilayered Ti₃C₂ MXene as heterogeneous catalyst for the guanylation of carbodiimides”  opening insightful discussion on reactivity, surface chemistry, and MXenes in selective catalysis.

Earlier, HG Energy researchers Elena Romero Salicio, Sabine Éliane Midré, and Dawid Kruger took part in the poster session, presenting:

  • Oxime oxidation via NaNbO₃ from Nb₂C (Elena)

  • N₂ reduction using Fe-Mo₂C MXene (Sabine)

  • ORR selectivity with Ti₃C₂Tₓ + Fe single atoms (Dawid)

Their work generated strong interest and valuable exchanges with researchers from around the world — reinforcing the importance of poster sessions as spaces for visibility, feedback, and new ideas.

🔬 The symposium continues to highlight the potential of MXenes in catalysis, energy, and materials science, while creating opportunities for collaboration and learning.

Thanks to the organizers:  Maksym Pogorielov, Oleksiy Gogotsi, Babak Anasori, José R. B. Gomes, Ana Primo Arnau, and Michael Naguib,  for fostering such an open and high-level scientific environment.
